All Change. But can the Greens Deliver?

Lewisham has a new Mayor, former Labour councillor Liam Shrivastava was elected as the Green Party candidate, backed up by 39 other Green councillors - many of whom were standing for the first time and did not expect to win.

The new Mayor and his Green Party colleagues have a huge task before them.

While party logo and some of the faces have changed, what remains are the challenges our borough faces - rubbish illegally dumped on street corners, the decline in community policing, and the need for action to make our streets safer for pedestrians, cyclists and car drivers alike.

Liberal Democrats remain committed to Building Lewisham's Future.

We will work hard to hold this new administration to account, just as we did the unaccountable Labour Party council that came before.
