Kate Richardson
I am long-term resident of Catford South, my children were born and raised here, so I know and love the area. I taught in a local primary school and was a governor in a primary and a secondary school in the ward.
As the former Chair of the Safer Neighbourhood team and the current Chair of a local Residents Association, I believe it is residents who know most about their area. That is why I am working with neighbours to deal with issues that depress Catford South, such as the many fly tipping hotspots. I have joined in litter picking and alerted the council to unsafe and dangerous paths and pavements.
I am very aware of the impact the rise of Houses of Multiple Occupation is having on residents and I’m working with others to try to improve the situation.
We need Lib Dem Councillors who understand their communities and have the determination to get things done.
