Blackheath deserves a councillor who knows the area and its people. I have lived here for 20 years. My children attended local schools.
My career spans several sectors. Nine years’ service in the medical branch of the Royal Air Force, leadership positions in the NHS, international health management consultancies, nine years as a magistrate and chair of several voluntary organisations.
I was elected by several local community organisations to represent them on Lewisham Health and Wellbeing Board.
Subsequent appointments to Health Governing Bodies - Lewisham and South East London, deepened my understanding of community issues and how they should be addressed.
