We’re kicking off election year with a Thamesfield Action Day on Saturday 17 January – and we’d love for you to join us. Thamesfield is one of our top target wards, and every conversation helps us get closer to making history!

Everyone is welcome — whether you’re experienced or brand new.

We'll be delivering and Canvassing in Penllaergaer from 10:30 on saturday. We'll be meeting at the junction of Home Farm way and  Ffordd Dillwyn Llewellyn.

This Saturday we are running morning and afternoon sessions in Stroud Green with lunch provided in between, so please do join us if you can:

Come and join us for the Annual Dinner of the North Wales Liberal Democrats - which will mark the kick-off of our 2026 Senedd campaign.

We will be joined by the Welsh Party leader, Jane Dodds MS

We'll be joined by Carl Cashman, Leader of the Liberal Democrats in Liverpool. Carl has been a strong voice for liberalism in the north, speaking up on a range of local and national media platforms including on the BBC, PoliticsJoe and Jeremy Vine. 

We will be meeting in the Vaux Room of the Ship Isis, which is on the top floor. 

This event will be raising funds for the 2026 Sunderland City Council elections, where we'll be hoping to challenge a Labour-run council with an awful track record, and try and stop the rise of Reform UK's divisive politics.
