This is our moment.

After nearly a decade of Conservative decline, Norfolk is turning the page. The old era is ending. What comes next is up to us.

Across the county, people are ready for change: better buses, stronger local healthcare, and real support for our rural communities.

With your help, we can deliver it.

But let’s be clear about the choice we face:

This is now a two-horse race between the Liberal Democrats and Reform UK.

A choice between proven local leadership, or and an untested alternative with no credible plan for Norfolk.

We can win. But only if we organise, mobilise, and reach every voter in every community.

Join Daisy Cooper MP, Sir Norman Lamb and Steff Aquarone MP for an energising campaign rally as we bring our team together right before postal ballots start hitting doormats.

This is about more than an election. It’s about the future of Norfolk.

Come along. Get involved. Let’s do this.

Your business. Your experience. Your questions.

  • 17 Apr 2026
  • 5.30 pm - 6.30 pm
  • Cromer Road
    Norwich NR6 6JA

Step into the room where Norfolk’s economic future is up for debate.

On Friday 17th April at 17:30 in Norwich, Daisy Cooper, Treasury Spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats and MP for St Albans, will join local business voices for a candid, no-holds-barred conversation about where Britain’s economy is heading next.

This isn’t a speech. It’s a dialogue.

At a moment when Parliament is gearing up for the King’s Speech and the decisions that will shape the next chapter of the UK economy, this is your chance to be part of the discussion. Not on the sidelines, but in the room.

Share your experience running a business, challenge assumptions, ask difficult questions, and hear directly from someone at the heart of economic policymaking.

Whether you’re concerned, curious, or simply want your voice heard, this free event brings together the people who live the economy every day with those who help shape it.

No party lines. No scripts. Just a serious conversation about what comes next, and how Norfolk fits into the picture.

Spaces are limited, so reserve your place now.

Ainsdale Action Day (Archived)

  • 18 Apr 2026
  • 12.00 am - 12.00 am

Ainsdale Action Day - This Saturday!

Please join us on Saturday 18th April 2026 in Ainsdale for our first Action Day of the local election campaign.

Ainsdale ward (now in the Sefton Central constituency), has an incredible team of Lib Dem candidates, and we need your help to get the word out to residents.

If you can spare a little time this weekend to deliver leaflets in Ainsdale, please get in touch - details below. Our team will be out and about all day - so early risers & night owls are very welcome!

There's no minimum commitment, so if you can deliver 50 leaflets, or 500 we'd love to have your support. The weather should be clear but cool - perfect for delivering.

Meet The Team:
Liberal Democrat On The Ballot
Ainsdale Councillor Lynne Thompson is joined by Rowena Gibson & Lesley Delves.

Lynne has an unparalleled record of service to Ainsdale residents and actively stands up for Liberal Democrat values on Sefton council. She is joined by Rowenna & Lesley, who are active members of the community, and together make a formidable, united team.

From securing the return of Children’s A&E to Southport Hospital, to leading community clean‑ups, repainting disabled bays, clearing walkways, and pushing for proper investment in Ainsdale beach and its facilities, this team will show what Lib Dem representation can achieve!

About Ainsdale Ward
Ainsdale Ward (now in the Sefton Central constituency) includes Ainsdale village, Woodvale and the vital stretch of coastline between Formby and Birkdale. Its beaches, nature reserve, and visitor economy are assets for everyone in Sefton - the Lib Dem team here have been leading the charge for proper investment, better facilities and a more ambitious vision for the area.

Supporting Ainsdale means supporting a part of Sefton that thousands of people from Southport, Bootle, Formby, Crosby, Maghull and beyond enjoy every year.

By helping the Lib Dem team here, you’re helping protect and improve one of the borough’s most important shared spaces.

Even if you can't help this weekend, we'd love to hear from you if you can volunteer any other time to help with leaflet deliveries & future action days in Ainsdale and beyond.

We are up against a billionaire-funded postal campaign by Farage's Reform UK, but Liberal Democrats across the country have shown that where we work together - we can beat Reform.
