The National Liberal Club is inviting all members and supporters from Guildford to a reception on 3rd November at 6pm.

The reception will include some short speeches and tours of the club.

Event Details

The 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Liberal Democrats for Electoral Reform (LDER) will be held on November 3 via Zoom, starting at 7:30pm.

We are over a year into this Parliament and our 72 Liberal Democrat MPs are front and centre in the fight for fair votes. 

With the most pro-PR parliament in history, an overwhelmingly pro-PR parliamentary Labour Party and an increasingly fragmented political landscape, could the conditions finally be ripe for change? 

Join us for our AGM to find out what LDER has been doing this year; and discuss the prospect for reform in this Parliament.

• Cameron Thomas MP. Cameron is a member of the House of Commons' Environmental Audit Committee; and an active member of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Fair Elections.

We’re thrilled to be joined by Lisa Smart MP, Liberal Democrat MP for Hazel Grove and our Party’s Cabinet Office Spokesperson. Lisa has strong Wandsworth roots, having been a candidate in Thamesfield’s 2011 by-election and standing for the London Assembly in 2012.

At the AGM, members will also have the chance to stand for key roles in the Local Party, including Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Campaigns Officer, Membership & Development Officer, Data Officer, Diversity Officer, and Ordinary Members. We’ll be in touch soon with more details about these roles and other ways you can get involved — from event planning to social media.

Southampton Liberal Democrats' Annual General Meeting 2025 with special guest speaker Martin Tod, Lib Dem Candidate for Mayor of Hampshire and the Solent and Leader of Winchester City Council.

Members who are unable to attend in person will have the option to join the meeting online.
