Lib Dems give Lewisham Mayor 90 days notice Thu 25th Feb 2010 The Liberal Democrat opposition on Lewisham Council have announced Chris Maines will be their Mayoral candidate in May. Chris, who came a close second to the Labour incumbent in 2006 says, "I think people are ready for change and we are the main challengers. The local Liberal Democrat team is strong, willing and ready to beat Labour."
