| Santa comes early for Lee Green Estate | |

Santa paid an early visit to a Lee Green Estate in Saturday. Children from the Leybridge Court and Merridale estate met Santa at a Christmas Party organised by the estate's Tenants and Residents' Association (TRA).
TRA Chair, Kirsty Jessup said "We wanted to put on a special event for the kids on the estate, and all the hard work we put in was worth it when they met Santa." Community-spirited local Councillor Brian Robson was pleased to help out by donning a Santa outfit and giving out presents to children. Councillor Robson said, "I was really pleased to help out the TRA by playing Santa. It just goes to show that there's never a dull moment as a local Councillor in Lee Green!" 17th December 2007
